More than 2,400 Member-Owners have joined the Dorchester Food Co-op to build a community-owned grocery store that advances food access, economic opportunity and neighborhood pride. Membership is an investment in a stronger local food system and the future of the Co-op.

A VOICE IN THE CO-OP
As a Member-Owner, you have a say in the future of Dorchester Food Co-op. Vote in Board elections, participate in major decisions and help shape a community-owned business committed to food access and economic opportunity.
SPECIAL DISCOUNTS
Enjoy exclusive member discounts, special promotions and access to bulk ordering opportunities. As the Co-op grows and becomes profitable, Member-Owners may also share in annual patronage dividends.
Become a Dorchester Food Co-op Member
Anyone age 18 or older can become a Member-Owner of Dorchester Food Co-op by purchasing a one-time $100 membership share. Membership also includes up to two additional adults in your household.
We believe membership should be accessible to everyone. You can pay your membership share in full, through installments over one year or with support from the Solidarity Fund. If the full $100 share is a financial hardship, you may request Solidarity Fund assistance based on your own assessment of need. No additional questions are asked.
To join, complete the form below and select one of the following payment options:
Full Payment: Pay the full $100 membership share.
Installment Plan: Make payments over time until the $100 share is paid within one year.
Solidarity Fund Support: Pay $25, $50 or $75 and request that the Solidarity Fund cover the remaining balance.
Pay It Forward: Pay the full $100 membership share and make an additional contribution to support another community member’s membership.
