Over the past few years, the Dorchester Food Co-op has been tirelessly working to perfect every detail of the coming physical location. With over 1,600 member owners, and thousands of donations raised from the community, we’re beyond excited to finally be opening the doors!

Dorchester Food Co-op has spent years leading up to this moment: The 2023 opening of it’s physical location! Whether you’ve been with us from the start, or are just now jumping in, one thing that’s always been true is we are by and for the community.

Dorchester Food Co-op is the only community-owned grocery store within the city of Boston that makes healthy food accessible and advances economic opportunity through neighborhood engagement. With this in mind we are excited to be hiring people that are passionate about local foods, who will provide excellent customer service, and want to be involved with community events.
